Expanded Wisconsin Fast Forward Grants
The objective of the Wisconsin Fast Forward (WFF) expanded grant program is to award funds that reimburse the costs of workforce development activities, as specified in the Grant Program Announcement (GPA).
Technical Education Equipment Grant
The purpose of this grant opportunity is to train high school students in advanced manufacturing or construction fields to help address Wisconsin's skilled worker shortage. This grant awards at least one-third of funds in a fiscal biennium to applicants that are school districts eligible for sparsity aid or consortia that include at least one eligible school district.
Open to Wisconsin school districts or consortia consisting of multiple school districts.
Amount: Approximately $1 million is being made available for this GPA.
Grant Amount: Grant awards will range from $5,000 to $100,000 per grantee.
Match: Applicants are required to provide matching funds in the form of money or the monetary value of donated equipment that are contributed from private sources, or the applicant or from both private sources and the applicant equal to one of the following:
- If the matching funds are contributed from private sources, 100 percent of the grant amount awarded.
- If any of the matching funds are contributed from school district funds, 200 percent of the grant amount awarded.
Application Deadline: The completed application, required forms, and supporting documents to WisconsinFastForward@dwd.wisconsin.gov emailed by 3 PM CST on February 18, 2025.
